Meet Your Media Center Staff!
Mrs. Fowler, Media and Educational Technology Instructor (METI)
I am the Media and Educational Technology Instructor (METI) at Ison Springs Elementary, and I wear many different hats in my role. In addition to being in charge of the media center’s book collection, I roll out new technologies with the staff and students. I love incorporating the latest technology into Ison’s media center. Before becoming a METI, I taught in the elementary classroom in 1st, 3rd, and 4th grade. I received my undergraduate degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in Elementary Education. (Go Heels!) I received my Masters in Education in Instructional Technology from Georgia Southern University, and most recently, got my Educational Specialist in Instructional Technology from The University of West Georgia. As you can tell, I love going back to school to make me more successful in my job working here at Ison Springs!
Outside of work, I love spending time with my husband, son, daughter, and two dogs. . We love traveling, exploring new parts of Atlanta, and watching college football.

Ms. Moss, Media Center Parapro
I’m Annette Moss, Ison Springs’ media paraprofessional, and also, I’m known as“Grandma” and “Auntie Moss.” As a single parent with a 2 years old son, Joseph, I relocated to Georgia in 1987 with a former employer. I fell in love with the land and the people.
I’m very proud of my son who’s presently working in Afghanistan and our dog Diamond,” the protector.” (Diamond is the daughter that I never had.)
I’m a part of the hospitality ministry with my church and I love people (especially the little children). You know that the little ones are our future, and we have to take good care of them. They say some of the “darnest “things, and we can learn a lot from them. I love my family, friends, church. I love to eat, laugh, have fun, and I enjoy helping and encouraging others. Also, I’m a work hard worker who takes pride in working in the media center.
This is my second career change and I LOVE it! Since working for Fulton County School System I have had the opportunity of working with many wonderful people on the “Southside” and “Northside”.I have been very BLESSED to work with a fabulous group of teachers, staff, children ,parents, and a WONDERFUL media specialist here at Ison Springs Elementary.
